The coats are available in sizes ranging from m to XXXL, offering extra length options from 31 to 35. The jacket features a flip-up Velcro collar and an extra lined flap behind the jacket snaps for additional protection. There are two horizontal pockets with Velcro for convenient storage. Why choose grain leather sleeves? Grain leather is lighter weight, more flexible, and softer than split leather, while still providing similar levels of protection and durability. The leather sleeves, made from high grade grain cowhide, offer excellent protection from spatter, sparks, and heat, while allowing free flowing arm movement. They are also resistant to heavy abrasion and friction, which typically cause cotton sleeved jackets to fail. The jacket itself is constructed from ASTM D6413 compliant 9 oz. FR black/red cotton. This flame retardant fabric prevents and extinguishes fires and flames. It is also coated with an anti-static coating for enhanced longevity and protection. To prevent sparks and spatter from entering the jacket, the front button column has a unique three layer fabric and Velcro design. This design not only improves protection but also ensures a better fit. The grain leather sleeves enhance arm mobility and the lightweight FR material is breathable, allowing consistent airflow to keep the wearer cool while still providing protection. The jacket offers an adjustable fit with side straps on each side, as well as adjustable collar and cuffs, allowing for a comfortable fit on various body sizes. The flip-up collar provides neck protection from arc rays, spatter, and sparks. Two large Velcro flapped pockets offer easy access and protected storage for personal items.
